Last week we did really well sticking to our menu plan. We did go out to eat one night for Owen's birthday so I pushed a meal off to this coming week. Otherwise we stayed with the meals I planned. Nothing came out of the freezer although I do need to add to my stockpile either this week or next week. And I felt horrible one night (as a result of not drinking enough water and not eating enough food) so Jon took over and grilled that night. I felt much better after drinking a HUGE glass of water and eating something. Note to self- you are pregnant, sometimes that means taking it a little easier!
On this week's menu:
Monday- Carolina Shredded chicken and cole slaw
Tuesday- homemade pizza
Wednesday- pasta and meatballs
Thursday- grilled keilbasa, rice and vegetables
Friday- date night in. I am going to feed the kids mac and cheese early. then they will watch a movie while Jon and I eat a Wanchai Ferry stiry fry that I have in the freezer and attempt some adult conversation!
Saturday- dinner out for my grandma's birthday. Since it is a nicer restaurant the kids are staying home with a babysitter and will eat fish sticks, apple sauce and carrot sticks
Sunday- leftover night
