I was reading an article the other day that said the average american family spends about $900 a month on groceries. WHAT?!?! Am I completely out of the loop? If I spent that much on food, well I don't know what I would do with it all.
I am not the most frugal person. There are many people who live on much less than I do, and do it with organic food. I am not one of those people. However, my husband and I manage to survive living on 1 and 1/4 incomes. Both being teachers salaries. And we have no debt. I don't know how we do it. That is why I am writing this blog. Maybe when I write down what I do and don't do to save money I can see how we do it each month.
And maybe I can help others.
Or maybe not. Who knows?
