Letters of Intent

Foursons
Dear Chicago,

Did you serioulsy make a rule in one of your schools that parents are NOT allowed to send lunches in with their kids? They can only bring lunches if they have allergies? That is the STUPIDEST thing I have ever heard. I am very glad that I live nowhere near your city.

Dear Springfield,

Do not get ANY ideas from Chicago. I will not pay for my child to eat your food everyday because you think it is healthier than what I send. I send healthy, balanced meals and will continue to do so. Plus I cannot afford the $30 a week it will cost to feed all three kids when they are in school. That is 1/3 of my weekly grocery budget for three meals a day for five people.

I totally do not agree with the whole lunch thing in Chicago. Then again my kid has food allergies but still. School food isn't even healthy for kids.

I saw that article and couldn't believe it. I have a kid w/serious texture issues and unless they want to clean his vomit off the lunch table everyday they will let me send his lunch with him to school. It is the stupidest thing I think I have ever heard.
