Having kids changes you

Today I decided that I need a laminator. And my next thought was wow,my wants and needs have changed drastically over the years. I can't think of a time in the past when a laminator would have been on my wish list. Having kids really does change you.

Back to the laminator- Well, maybe I don't need one. Jon brought me home lamiating paper and I ahve been laminating Madeline's activities by hand ( I figure that way I can reuse them for Owen and even reuse them for Madeline over time). But it takes awhile. I need to cut the pieces, then laminate one side, fip over and repeat (hoping that there are no bubbles and the everything lines up okay) and then cut again.
It isn't horrible, I ususally do it while I watch tv. But a laminator would make things so much easier and neater. So I have been looking, but I don't know if I can justify spending the amount of money one would cost. Of course I can justify it if I figure out how much money I would spend on preschool each month versus the cost of one laminator (and laminating paper refills as necessary). So now I do research and figure out what I want/need/can afford and then put it on my Christmas list.

Up next, I want one of the cricut machines.

I bought ...I think it's a Scotch Thermal Laminator. It was around $30. I've been laminating everything I can get my hands on! haha I had the same mindset as you...I put it in my cart one day, and have been using it ever since. I used to use rolls of contact paper.
