Snow in October

It snowed today. I live in New England and it doesn't snow in October here. November yes. We have even had snow as late as April. But not in October.
I love snow, I love winter- good thing too since I live in New England. But it is a little early for my taste. It did not accumulate thank goodness- I don't know where my snow scraper is right now.
On the bright side watching the snow entertained my kids for almost 10 minutes. 10 minutes of blissful quiet while they watched the snow!
