Last week was a hot and humid week. That means the oven was off as much as possible. This week looks a lot better so I am planning on using the oven more often. Hopefully I don't regret this plan!
Breakfasts:
cereal
yogurt (homemade!)
waffles from the freezer
pancakes
fresh fruit
Lunches:
peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
ham and cheese sandwiches
macaroni and cheese with hot dogs
chicken nuggets
grilled cheese
Dinners:
baked ziti (from the freezer)
loaded nachos using leftover chicken from Sunday's crockpot chicken
breakfast for dinner- scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and french toast using whole wheat bread
pizza pockets from the freezer
leftover night
grilled vegetables, chicken (leftover from the Sunday's dinner) and rice
honey bourbon chicken in the slow cooker- I have not made this before and we are not gluten free so I will not worry about using gluten free ingredients, but this recipe looks awesome.
Dinner each night will be served with vegetables from our CSA share. Last week we tried a new recipe for eggplant. It was delicious and I will make it again.
