It's been awhile since I have written one of these letters. They are pretty cathartic and I am in need of it this week.
Dear My City,
Why must you insist on full day kindergarten? I would be plenty happy with a simple morning of school for Madeline. However you give me no option in that. Everyone blames the fact that I am not ready to let her go. But I know better, I know that half day kindergarten is much more appropriate for five year old children. If I am so wrong why did I just read an article about the increased number of parents holding their kids out of school until they are 6 and starting kindergarten then? Don't think it didn't cross my mind to do the same!

I am SO happy you are walking! Now, if you could learn a few words it would make communication much easier. I know you are only 14 months, but a few words is all I am asking.

Dear buyers of houses,
Please buy my house. Please? It has been on the market for almost 60 days. It is a really good house, it is just the fact that the school system stinks. I REALLY want to buy the new house we fell in love with. So buy my house. Pretty please?

Oh don't even get me STARTED!!!
First of all we had our house on the market of 15 months... with noting. Then we took it off the market and a seller just fell in our lap. Even though it worked out in the end, it was so frustrating going through it. Good luck!
Second of all, my son is 15 months and he has no desire to talk. He walked right at 12 months, but talking is just not coming. He can say all of 5 words... sigh. My daughter could make sentences at 12 months! Full blown conversations by 15 months! I am so ready for Jayce to TELL me what he wants! LOL
And lastly, I don't blame you for not wanting to let her go. They are still so little, why in the world do they need to be there for a full day????? Really???? Good luck there too!!!
We have full day Kinder down here too. AND, I held Nolan out an extra year. He started Kinder at 6 years old. That is all I will say about that.
Good luck with the talking. I had 2 speech delayed kiddos and it can make life frustrating at times.
Also good luck with selling your house. We had ours on the market and ended up taking it off because it never sold. *sigh*
